Venn located in Zaventem is a B2B managed service provider specializing in SDWAN technologies. We deliver stable and efficient VPN services to customers worldwide by taking all available Internet connections and connecting them into an unbreakable service. We have grown tremendously in the past year and are therefore expanding our activities.

In 2020 we had over 200 customers with around 50 in construction.

This is what the job looks like

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medior Project Manager/Service Delivery Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing projects within the telecom sector, with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end customer projects on time and within budget. You will be responsible for coordinating various projects, ensuring all aspects are aligned with our strategic objectives, and driving them to successful completion. You understand operational processes like no other and are willing to help improve them.

As SDM, you are the single point of contact for all operational matters within the organisation for your assigned customers/projects.

At Venn, we are expanding our installation capabilities worldwide. As such, you will be able to contribute to the growth of Venn by creating an operational workforce globally. This may imply travelling from time to time to different subcontractors to create strong partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Recommend improvements to existing procedures, strategies, and policies.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Create a global workforce of technicians by creating profound partnerships.

Your “must-have”

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience in the telecom industry.
  • You are fluent in French and/or Dutch and English.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong understanding of telecom technologies and infrastructure.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
